Influenced by early video games, 90s aesthetics, and early internet design, the work blends crisp shapes, bright color, and recurring symbols—crowns, spirals, icons, and map-like spaces.
At a glance it’s fun and familiar. Up close it’s structured, intentional, and loaded with little “power-up” moments.

About the Work
Kenny Colors creates paintings and objects that turn the visual language of 90s pop culture into structured, navigable worlds. Influenced by early video games, map systems, internet graphics, and hand-drawn pattern, the work combines bright color, crisp forms, and recurring symbols to build spaces that feel both playful and coded. Crowns, spirals, pathways, and icon-like elements function as visual cues within worlds that invite recognition, curiosity, and close looking. Across painting and object-making, the work explores the tension between order and spontaneity, using familiar visual language to suggest deeper systems of memory, transformation, and emotional charge.
